Sorry we are late sending in our review. The trip to London and Edinburgh was amazing! We loved the plays, especially those in London! The accommodations, food and tours were all great! The extra help we got from Break Away from the tickets to Hamilton and the airplane debacle coming home were much appreciated - Thanks Alex! I would suggest not doing a play on the last night, but a good bye dinner and time to get ready to depart would be appreciated. We are excited for the next Idaho Shakespeare trip! Martie and Carl

We had never tried a trip like this before but decided to give it a try. We very much enjoyed the experience. It was well run and coordinated, all the group leaders were very enthusiastic and extremely helpful. At the time Marge was recovering from some back issues and she (along with a few others) very much appreciated the cab rides when there were some longer walking portions. All the sites we saw were very interesting and we especially enjoyed the Churchill War Rooms. And of course the plays were great. We had our doubts about Equus but ended up also enjoying that one. It was great to have such a variety of plays and theatres, some very intimate and others quite elaborate. "Witness for the Prosecution" was a great play to end the trip on. The hotel of course was very good (perhaps a little more fruit/alternatives at breakfast would have been nice) and the meals and restaurants were very nice. We were impressed with all that was scheduled on the trip, often a pretty full day and then dinner followed by a play. I must say that at home we are probably in bed by 10 pm! We had recently been to London but had not actually visited the sites on this tour. It was too bad we could not have seen Westminster Cathedral. One suggestion might have been to shift things a bit and give us a morning of "free time" for those wanting to see it since it was so close to the hotel. As it was, when we had some time off it was too late to visit as they had a 3 pm cutoff. Other than that, a great trip.

We had a smaller group than expected. Apparently, that put us in a category of not receiving the care and support that larger groups receive. We did not have the usual meeting in Reno previous to the trip where the itinerary and agenda are explained. We got to the hotel and were handed our hotel keys and theater tickets. We were given another handout of the itinerary, which had changed somewhat. Many on the tour had questions and there really wasn’t anyone to give help. The tour guides tried to help and many were contacting Dennyse. After the getting off the tour boat for the Statue of Liberty, we were put on city buses? After another tour, we were put in taxis that we paid for and had to wait to be reimbursed? Definitely not a five star experience. The hotel locked us out of our room because we were given the keys and they didn’t have a credit card on file. I could continue, but you can see why I gave this trip a 3.

It was a fantastic trip! The shows were incredible. The guides were amazing. It was a lot of fun. I loved the hotel location - super cool to be so close to everything. The breakfast buffet was really good. The staff was wonderful (especially Owen at the concierge desk). However (and this is super picky), they didn't have washcloths which made it hard for my dad to shave each m morning. Also the lighting in the bathroom was odd and the bathroom outlet did not fit the hair dryer plug. Restaurants were a lot of fun and there was a wide variety of cuisine available. A couple of them didn't seem to cater to large groups timewise (several meals were rushed toward the end so we could make our show curtain). Not a huge deal, but just a little surprising. Coaches and tours were great - the only suggestion I would have is more time at places like Windsor Castle. :) Thank you for a fabulous time that I'll remember always!
